Welcome to our place, chez Platt, Barrats A!
As you may have gathered we have a lovely place in Chamonix. We’d like to spend far more time in it, but work seems to get in the way… So we feel that the next best thing to do is to talk about it – the apartment, local areas and activities and imagine we are there.
Through our blog we’d like to share interesting things we find, let you know about special offers, the best place to ski, hang out etc. At this stage in our lives news is going to revolve around family based activities in the summer and more extreme sports at other times of the year when he is busy living his mid-life crisis. Tips on living any parts of our lives are welcome:-)
Through hearing the things we have to waffle on about, hopefully you’ll be persuaded to come and visit our apartment and also benefit from the things we have in it as well.

And a little more about the apartment itself……
Barrats A is light, airy self catering apartment, ideal for either summer or winter holidays. It sleeps 6 (2 bedrooms plus sofa bed) and is only 5 mins walk from the centre of town. The open plan lounge/dining room has a modern, stylish kitchen including American fridge freezer, 2 balconies, Wifi and UK freeview sat TV. You might also enjoy our little library of books and films if the weather turns. In the centrally heated cave with plenty of space for bike and ski storage, you’ll find the washing machine and drying rack. Barrats A also has plenty of parking, which given the busyness of the town at peak seasons is very useful!
