Go Sébastien Montaz-Rosset! Can you claim reflected glory from a chap who’s visted your apartment who is now cited as the 2nd most cool reason to hit the slopes this year?
Good to see that global warning hasn’t upset the need to hit the slopes too much this year. We always like to see whether we’re missing something or not by checking out the ‘what’s hot’ columns in the Sunday Times Style magazine. Usually the answer is yes of course, but this week we were delighted to see that Sébastien Montaz-Rosset was cited as the second coolest reason for hitting the slopes this year.
Why are we pleased? Well he was the Chamonix Guide the boys used for their ice climbing on the Mer de Glace this autumn. They all came away saying what a nice guy he was and how he’s the right chap to take them up Mont-Blanc next year.
And the talents that grabbed me was his amazing videos (check out his bouldering video). Good to see his talent for cinematography getting more widely recognised. His pictures to music are captivating, clearly marrying together two of his favourite pass times.
And what’s even better, come June, the boys will be getting their own Sébastien Montaz-Rosset production once they have completed their ascent! bring it on…:-)
Oh yes, and our claim to fame is the fact that he poped into the flat to drop some climbing equipment off once 🙂 Tenuous I know, but.
